Tammy Sweet Halprin - Senior Vice President - Investments

I feel like I have "grown up" in the financial services industry having been with Wells Fargo Advisors or its predecessor firms, Wachovia Securities, LLC and Prudential Securities, for over 21 years.  I have been part of the Wells Fargo Advisors Retirement Plan Advisor Program and I am very honored to have been recognized by Wells Fargo Advisors as a Premier Advisor for being a leader among my peers.  I have witnessed a lot of change in our industry.  We were once the sole source of information for investors.  Now, there is so much information, our role is to help you navigate the markets to meet your specific goals.  Your goals change, the market changes.  We want to be the constant in that sea of change.

I have a wonderful husband, Mark, who keeps me well grounded.  My son, Christopher,  is ten and reminds me to look at the world through his eyes to see the awe around us.  He has also taught me that no question is too silly to answer.

I am a P.E.O. Sister and a Board Member for the Emerald Coast Children's Advocacy Center.  My husband and I sponsor and help coach teams for Niceville Little League and PAL soccer.  We are members of the Rocky Bayou Country club where we play golf.  (My husband is much better at it than I.)

Scott Finkler, AAMS® - First Vice President - Investments

I was raised in Chester, Virginia right outside Richmond, with my Mother and two brothers.  From my Mom, I learned the value of hard work and perseverance since she had to raise three boys (within 3 years of age of each other) by herself.  As a teenager I loved competitive team sports and played basketball and soccer. I learned the value of teamwork, while still being an individual with a specific focus on the court and field. I received my Bachelors degree in Business Administration from James Madison University in 1991 and graduated from Officer Basic Training with the U.S. Army at Fort Eustis Virginia in 1992. Upon completion I was assigned to the Inactive Ready Reserve, and I began my professional career with a nationally known furniture retailer. Quickly moving into a leadership position, I traveled for this company from Richmond to Chicago and landed in Fort Walton Beach, Florida in 1999. During this entire time my love for investing, portfolio management and the understanding of financial markets grew from a hobby to an outright passion.

1999 was a year of change in my life as I was diagnosed with two forms of cancer. In a moment I realized how fragile life is. While I was in for the fight of my life I knew my professional life had to be spent focused on my love, and not just a job. It was then in April 2001 that I joined Prudential Securities LLC, a predecessor firm of Wells Fargo Advisors.

Fighting to beat cancer gives me a different perspective on investing and financial management. I believe that you should not only invest for your retirement tomorrows, but you must be able to enjoy your today. And as my investment planning career grew, I realized just how broad the financial landscape is and knew there was an opportunity to provide a stronger client experience. In 2003, Tammy Halprin and I realized that together we could provide a deeper, more meaningful client experience and strategic offering, thus we formed the Halprin Finkler Investment Group. Our ongoing mission is to create a practice where our focus is 100% dedicated to our client's goals. I am proud of what we have been able to accomplish for our clients. My greatest satisfaction comes from knowing we are making a difference in their lives.

When I leave the office I spend time with my wonderful wife of almost five years, Sherry Currow, our two rescue puppies Riley and Bailey, and our pet Conure Tristan. Sherry and I enjoy going to the beach, spending time with friends and family, fishing, kayaking, traveling and being advocates for the American Cancer Society and the Relay for Life.

Joseph Rizza, Jr. - Financial Consultant

I have two wonderful parents who taught me the importance of hard work and saving for the future at an early age.  These lessons helped pave the way for my educational and career goals.  In 1999, I graduated from Central Connecticut State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance and started my career as a Financial Advisor in Glastonbury, Connecticut.

In July of 2001, I transferred to Destin, Florida, the place I now call home.  Since relocating to Destin, I have been involved in the Walton County Area Chamber of Commerce, the Destin Area Chamber of Commerce, participated as a board member for the annual Heart Ball event organized for the American Heart Association and am the past Program Chair for Emerald Coast Emerging Leaders (ECEL).

I joined the Halprin Finkler Investment Group of Wells Fargo Advisors in May of 2005.  One of Wells Fargo Advisors' goals is to provide their advisors with tools needed to truly serve clients.  I value the freedom I have been given to do what is best for my clients.  Being here for clients during milestone moments, from new beginnings to retirement, is such a rewarding experience.  It has truly been a pleasure assisting clients with their investment planning needs for over ten years.

In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, entertaining family and friends, traveling, tinkering in my yard and spending my time with my lovely wife, Christy.  We have two pets: Baylor, our yellow Labrador Retriever, and Biagio, our long-haired Chihuahua.

Tracy Lardiere - Practice Administration Manager

I grew up in Boston, Massachusetts where I attended Marion Court Private School of Business. Upon graduation in 1989, I accepted a job as an Operations Clerk. This started a 21 year career that I truly love and love coming to work daily.

Prior to becoming a Floridian, I worked for Wachovia Securities, LLC, a predecessor firm of Wells Fargo Advisors, in downtown Boston for several years.

My first week in Florida was in July 2005, one week before Hurricane Dennis. Not only did we move to Defuniak Springs, we were forced to evacuate. I felt like a true Floridian and to this day I will take evacuation over cold winter Boston months every day. In 2005 our family changed yet further as I learned I was pregnant with my son, A.J.

Our entire family is now proud to call Florida home, and I have to say, life is more relaxing in the South. I spend weekends at the pool or beach with my family.  A.J. starts pre-school this year and wants to learn to play golf and tennis; for now he spends his days dribbling soccer balls and flips in gymnastics.  I love my life and am living every minute of it.
